RotoSpin
RS-B

The RotoSpin B are called flange ones. They feature a box design, which allows the module’s easy attachment to a flat surface by means of feet. According to their size, RotoSpins B are manufactured in four size categories with load capacities of 60, 250, 500, and 1000 kg respectively. We supply the RS1000 module in two versions according to the foot width. The B version with narrow feet is used where it is necessary to support a long workpiece or welded piece by means of a support module. The module with wide feet is marked as RS 1000-BX and it is used for the clamping of short workpieces without support modules.

Maintenance

The rotary module does not require any special maintenance. When installing the rotary module, observe the respective dimensional and positional tolerances of the centering diameters. The rotary module is a high-precision product, therefore it requires careful manipulation, installation, and dismounting.

Delivery Conditions

The rotary module is delivered completely assembled, without fixing screws, grease lubricated, and in a protective package.

Each rotary modul is identified with an identification plate, including the following data:

  • manufacturer
  • production type and size
  • reduction ratio
  • model
  • manufacturing number

Advantages

  • Possibility to attach to flat surfaces,
  • Compact design,
  • Wide area of use,
  • Easy attachment.

Important notes:

  • Load values in the table are valid for the nominal life of L10 =6000 [Hrs].
  • High precision reduction gears are preferred for intermittent cycles (S3-S8); the output speed in applications is inverted-variable. The continuous mode cycle (S1) is needed to be consulted with the manufacturer.
  • Please consult the maximum speed in a duty cycle with the manufacturer.
  • The values in the table refer to the nominal operating temperature.

The ratios highlighted in bold are recommended by SPINEA as optimal versions in terms of price and delivery.

  1. Mean statistical value.
  2. Load at output speed 15 rpm.
  3. Tilting moment Mc max value for Fa=0.
  4. Axial force Fa max value for Mc=0.
  5. The values of the parameters are informative. The exact value depends on the specific version of the high precision reduction gear.
  6. Temperatures of the high precision reduction gear lower than 20°C will cause higher no-load starting or back driving torque.
