Together with Siemens, SPINEA® has developed a precision rotary drive unit that can be integrated directly into the control system of KUKA's robotic cell positioners and, of course, into Siemens' control system. The technical goal was to create a maximally compact unit with minimal modifications to the standard products without a massive flange and without a coupling. This achieved maximum availability and minimum cost. The advantage is also the possibility to deliver even minimum quantities at unbeatable prices. Gradually, a concept for a comprehensive product line based on the SPINEA® product series G and T the 1FK70 servomotors was developed... series from Siemens. This range is offered in a torsional torque range from 35 to 7000 Nm. One of the dominant advantages is the manufacturability for various applications with extreme demands on technical parameters. It is primarily precision, but it is possible to prepare special reducers for high efficiency and low starting torque applications. Although these are marginal requirements for technical properties, we are able to achieve them with minimal impact on the final product price.
